According to MGAMT RC book:
"Line numbers are not listed. Though the Official Guide and 'older GMAT tests list line
numbers down the side of the paragraphs, the GMAT itself does not now number the lines
in each passage. When necessary, the GMAT will use yellow highlighting in the passage to
indicate the location of a particular term, phrase or section."
Is this true? If so then it seems like the specific questions in RC would appear a bit easier than while using line nos, isn't it?

Typically, long passages on the actual exam either have a really short first paragraph or requires you to scroll down to read.

Previously on the gmat lines were important because they used to ask questions referring to the contet in particular lines, but nowadays we dont see those kind of problems. Anyways if the line numbers are needed I sure gmat would provide them.
