Guys I gave a kaplan test today got a score of 620 (Q50,V31) with 4 mistakes in quant and in verbal 18 mistakes (majority in RCs)
I has almost messed up RC questions.Spent 8 minutes in each passage and got all 3 to 4 questions on them wrong. This affects the total time also like today i had to rush up at the end of the test ,guessed 6 questions in 1 min just because i did not want unattempted questions.
does anyone of you guide me with strategies in RC? are there any particular simple question oriented ways to deal with RCs. My strategy is : i read the passage make notes (short notes what each para talks abt ,etc, main point ,topic etc) then go to the questions, inference ones are never right for me.
is there any better method!!
what should be the score in Quant, verbal inorder to get a 750+ in GMAT????

depends and varies with high qt to low verbal and vice versa. because different combinations also give 750. for 750+, you should have V = 44+ and Q = 49+, however some have 750+ with q49 and v42 too...

The information is really really useful now i understood that one needs to get a decent 49+ in Quant and 45+ in verbal. but can u shed some light on how to manage time in verbal since dealing with passages ,all the time is lost in RCs.
