Having no OA is not the issue and critiquing is always welcome. But the problem here is of different kind. I think some glaring typos should be avoided by proper proof-reading before uploading to make the responders really get involved. This is a must. Instead of directly keying in on the box, you can do it in a word file, proof read and then transfer. Again re-look at the posted passage and edit any errors. For example in the given passage,
When considering the purchase of a new automobile, [highlight]dome[/highlight]buyers carefully [highlight]weight[/highlight][highlight]may[/highlight]factors before buying, while others simply go to a dealership and buy a car based on its color.

Now to critique the passage. – When - is a more restrictive term than – while -. When can be used to denote a particular moment, rather a temporary instance, even as –while - can be used to denote a longer durational period and to indicate general habits like the one in the given case.
But for this small error of usage, (not a great grammatical error) Choice A looks pretty good, with proper modification,
In B, the placement of the modifier away from the buyers is a misplaced modification.
C has a punctuation error; the missing of the comma after the automobile leads to mean as though the purchase of the automobile is done carefully, rather than –carefully - modifying – weigh - .
In D, the introductory modifier wrongly modifies many factors
E is unparallel in using passive voice for the first part and active voice for the second part. Again the modifier in this case points to many factors, a wrong modification.
So my vote is for A.
