"D" is correct.


E is not correct because the list of slopes doesn't end with "and". "And" is required to signal the end of a list e.g. among X, Y and Z

"but" is a coordinating conjunction and it connects two clauses. in E) the first sentence is a clause but the 2nd is a phrase. so it cant be E). A) is out b/c the absence of a conjunction creates a run-on-sentence. D) is best b/c it shows the contrast that the skiers can choose the music but not a slope without music.

That was a tough question. I will choose E. E correctly uses "among", as a skier can chose among one of the three different music slopes.

D seems to be correct, but the use of although, and it somehow doesn't gel with the overall meaning of the sentence.
