analysis is singular so "makes" not make.

"makes it clear" in E is idiomatic than "makes clear"(what?)

yup it shoud be E for correct subject verb agreement and usining it.

A new Conference Board analysis by economists Rober H. McGuckin and Bart van Ark make clear the United States of America and Europe virtually changed places in the productivity sweepstakes during the 1990's.

E should be the answer because it says "makes it clear". The "it" refers to the analysis.I guess its a modifier type question

Well...guess what...you guys are all studs..and subjects of my unbrindled envy (or should it be 'subject of'....or 'subjected to'....Hmm..). :roll:

OA is E. I wrongly marked C, thinking that 'it' in E does not have a referent.

Im still confused as to what it in E refers to!
