B,

a) Who is refering back to refree's lack of alertness --( Wrong relative pronoun who )
c) Complecate the sentence by interducing another who ....which cause confusion about the who in the later portion of the sentence.
d) Misplaced midifyer ...
E) His lack of alerness .....( his...wrong pronoun)1

Hey ong, its never about posting tougher questions! Post those questions for which you want a discussion, where you dont agree with the OA or want to learn the concept or you have come across a real good question and want to share with the others!

Many times, I post to check whether I am the only one who got a questions wrong! and other time to check can anyone else get the answer right!! :wink:

My anwer is B as well. Most of the answer choices were passive clauses..
