IMO "alone" is better than "themselves". otherwise it sounds as if the cars came from the line independently. so its B) !

"Alone" sounds better than "themselves"....the usage of "themselves" sounds like the trucks somehow walked itselves off the assembly lines..?

I agree w/ B... 'themselves' should be replaced by 'alone'. 'Themselves' suggests that the trucks rode off the assembly line w/ their own effort.

Either there is a typo or I am missing something. "AS MANY AS" merely doesn't exist in D.

For me B is the best.
