akash7gupta11 , dyes is plural.
And the word "the" does not affect whether this noun is plural or singular.
Singular noun dye, correct: Henna is a dye used to color hair or paint beautiful designs on skin.
Plural noun, dyes: Some colorful foods such as beets, carrots, and annatto are used as food dyes in organic products in the U.S.
Singular dye used with the, correct: The dye was not saturated enough to stain her skin.
Plural dyes used with the, correct: The dyes used to stain the wool thread in ancient Persian rugs came from plants such as indigo, larkspur, and saffron.
