here we are comparing dutch economy to 3 different ones (of three different countries) hence economies.

Sometimes we ignore the non-underlined part of the sentence (especially the part after the underline) and that is a BIG BIG mistake.

I don't know what is the rule to be followed..
 
 as money and economy are by themselves in their plural form..
