Clear winner C.

Talking about people hence "50000 die" is appropriate than 50000 deaths.

Fourteen million Americans have coronary heart disease, and the death of 500,000 from it every year, making it the leading killer of men and women in the U.S.

(A) the death of 500,000 from it every year
(B) 500,000 deaths occur from it every year
(C) 500,000 die from the condition every year
(D) every year it kills 500,000 from the condition
(E) every year killing 500,000 from the condition

OA lateR~~

Guys,
Agreed C is answer.. But in C, it has ambiguous reference. It can refer to condition or coronary desease..

Any explanation ??

Clearly C. sharad, the condition IS CHD, and there is no ambiguity.
