Yup B here ... For Like uasage and ||ism...

My two cents...

As cannot be used here because we are comparing myths to language.

A Give away here is that AS does not have a verb after it...

Correct Usage is AS + CLAUSE {Subject + Verb}
LIKE + Noun Phrase { NO VERB}

Guys, i remmeber reading the passage on myths in the last Kaplan test I took. This SC is from that passage for sure. Could somebody tell me why "that" is correct and "that is" is not? Also what does "is as characteristic of human beings" mean?
