in choice A, the first modifier meat eating dinosaur seems to modify bones of m...., hence I thought that choice A was wrong.

B has SVA problem

Others are all convoluted forms of A, so why bother about them...

meat eating dinosaur modifies Majungatholus atopus.

Also "that is a close relative and resembles" maintains the S-V agreement.
Meat eating dinosaur is singular.

In A "Majungatholus atopus" closely resembles the Southe American predatory dinosaurs right?

Vikram A is fine. I had misinterpreted earlier when I said D in the PM to you.

The information in the parenthetical expression (separated by commas) clearly modifies Majungatholus atopus.
