how is "since Robert Boyle" correct .....makes it sound like Robert Boyle was a century or year !

I agree with you regarding the implication of time when "since" is used.

However, usage of "since" with proper nouns to indicate a time duration is acceptable and we can find many examples of such writing.

In this case none of the other options seem to be plausible... so maybe best to leave A as is.

Yeah I was hoping to find out a way to post the question as a picture, but I cant figure out how :? Anyway, I also chosed a but the answer according to the answer key is B which has me perplex

A critique...a vision... (A).

What's the source Apollo? Any OE?? B seems to be un-ll and passive.

Is there any PC guru on this site who knows how to copy these sorts of files into a text document? Same with GMATPrep etc..??

Just downloaded the paper base test from somewhere in this site. Ive already spotted several erroneous answers and I have verified it with the members in this site. So I wouldnt be suprise if B is wrong as well
