Due to the fact that Jordan wrecked Bono's station wagon during a road trip last summer, she has not been and probably never would be allowed to driveher father's car.

B. has not been allowed to drive and probably will not be allowed to drive
E. has not and probably never will be allowed to drive

have narrowed to B & E and am not sure how to choose from here. both seem plausible.

please explain your choice.

I think E can't be the OA in it's original form. In E, the two clauses on either side of "and" are not parallel. One is active voice, the other is passive voice.

OA is B and not E

This is a CATPREP question

It is not A because using both probably and would is redundant

whenever there is a sentence such as

he achieved his goal and did well

We should be able to construct two independent clauses as

he achieved his goal
he did well

B gives the correct verb tense and is clear in meaning
