hmm..interesting question.....

BDE are out because drunk is an adjective modifying the wrong noun.
Between A&C I think we should not separate the verb from its object. Therefore A.

what a bizarre question. where did you find this one? None of the choices really sound that great but if forced to choose I would go with A.

This is cruel. Please tell me this is not one of those powerprep or gmatprep questions.

I pick A because it sounds better.

But to be honest, all of them sound awkward to me.

A is the best among the five choices (All 5 are pretty crap, if you ask me)
