should be A or E. as its the town which is famous because of the Godfather and not the mobster. I think i ll go with A . E looks a bit lengthy.

Good job on A.

Althoguh don't feel bad bout E either. Its also correct, but A is shorter...

I guessed E too.

A is correct. All the other sentences change the original meaning.

i think its C..
A conveys that the town was famous because of the godfather which is wrong. mobster can be famous as godfather and not the town.

My thinking in ruling out E was that " According to Italy's top anti-Mafia prosecutror" needs to follow " the ailing mobster". Instead it modifies the town, Corleone .

I think E is wrong because of the tense of the sentence.
"Corleone" WAS the town that the ailing mobster WENT to. I dont think CAME to is right since WAS is in the past tense.

A is clear and concise.

I think the flaw with E is passive voice plus the noun 'carolene' is separated from its verb, is the town, unnecessarily.
when A provides a better option, why to go for twisted sentence as in E.

MGMAT says that both A and E are correct. No grammatical errors. A is simply shorter than E.

So go for brevity.
