Why is 'A' incorrect?


here d effects are compared. substitute d ans choices

effects are as varied as china...
effects that are as varied as china..

now you only tell me which one is correct? dont get carried away cuz 'countries' is mentioned..look derz a preposition before dat 'on' so we can omit from dat part

From what I can see as varied as modifies countries and not the effects.

Between A and D too....tough choice.
I picked D because "that" seems to put more emphasis on "countries" and makes the sentence sounds better to me.
