Scholars who once thought Native American literatures were solely oral narratives recorded by missionaries or anthropologists now understand this body of work to consist of both oral literatures and the written works of Native American authors, who have been publishing since 1772.

A. Scholars who once thought Native American literatures were solely oral
narratives
B. Scholars thinking of Native American literatures once solely as oral narratives, and
C. Scholars who once had thought of Native American literatures solely as oral narratives and
D. Native American literatures, which some scholars once thought were solely oral narratives
E. Native American literatures, which some scholars once, thinking they were solely oral narratives

Should be A.
Can't be D as "Native American literatures......now understand this body of work ....".
Literatures can't understand IMO.

Hi Amit,
Just wanted to know one thing....out of this question.
I also tried solving these Sets 25-30. But cudn't sove on time(felt short of 15-18 minutes, 8-10 questions). Dont know what to do. But unable to improve on timings. Are these test sets difficult than normal gmat pattern or its similar.
Anyone can suggest me any tips?

Thanks.

Hi there!

I can rate these sets at par or below vs. real GMAT.
I find RC easy; CR & SC in similar patterns with real GMAT.
Just use it as practice tool, that's what i can say!

Apart from OG i prefer practicing SETs over any other material. And i agree with people on GMATCLUB that SETS have lot of incorrect answers!

Cheers!

Choice A for me. It keeps simple verb form and I don't believe you can mix "once" and past perfect... can you?

narrowed it down to A & C...B sounds really awarked, and C has past perfect tense which is not necessary here...so A is good
