No - A is correct. It's the only one in which all of the verb tenses agree. "having been prescribed" is an example of the past perfect progressive tense, which is used to indicate that a continuing action in the past began before another past action began or interrupted the first action. In other words, the patients aren't responding to a particular therapy because they "received" - past tense - the wrong thing - because they were "prescribed" the wrong thing. They were prescribed the wrong thing BEFORE receiving the wrong thing. All action is in the past, but one occurred before the other. And "having been" indicates the action was ongoing. I think I'm right on this.

A maintains parallelism too.
actually this can be done more achieved by POE , its quick to eliminate others and we are left with only one choice A.
