Can someone help me understand the difference between the following things:
when to use "both Jan and Jake ran down the hallway" instead of "Jan and Jake ran down the hallway"
when to use "both Jan and Jake alike enjoy ice cream"
when to use "good" as oppose to "well." From my understanding "well" is used for health context?
when to use "between" versus "among"
thanks guys for your help....really appreciate it. I tried searching the forum for this but these words are too common so it was challenging to find a relevant topic.

I can only help with two
Between two things; Among a few - this applies always
Well - refers to health and state of being (can be adjective or adverb)
Good - refers to morality or quality (always adjective). Never use "I am doing good"
