A is wrong because of the use of 'placing' which implies that the placement is taking place immediately. The correct sentence should convey that the placement will take place at another time. C is incorrect because 'which' modifies women; it should modify the trend. D same error as A and it's in the passive voice. E is in passive voice and 'which' is incorrectly modifying fall.
