Il back you up on that.
elim CE for improper use of which.
the majority of... in this case is plural because it means the many parts of things.
I believe B is better than A b/c the majority of students I think is suppose to be the subject.
D seems to be less active and its why I chose B. Sry can't really explain everything on this one.

B.
A is wrong because of the use of 'placing' which implies that the placement is taking place immediately. The correct sentence should convey that the placement will take place at another time.
C is incorrect because 'which' modifies women; it should modify the trend.
D same error as A and it's in the passive voice.
E is in passive voice and 'which' is incorrectly modifying fall.
