I got with A. Here Oneida is a team -=> it is singular --> so "was" will go with it rather than "were"

what the hell is "Oneida"?

I know it is singular but I can't fathom wheather it is a person or a nation.

If it is a person, then A is the correct answer as "who" is generally used to refer to live beings.

If it's a a nation, then C would be the correct choice because:

"Greatly influenced by the Protested missionary Samuel Kirkland, the Oneida alone, among the five-nation Iroquois League, sided with the colonists during the American Revolution."

I choose C (but I think it's wrong...just saw this one on Prep 2).

I feel A is too wordy and should have something like "was the only [member] of the five-nation Iroquois League who sided". Plus, shouldn't it say "that" sided?

What's the OA?

shouldn't among compare more than 2 entities? Five-nation league is a singular noun.
