IMO D.
We definitely need "enable or enabling" here. So B, C, and E is out.
Between A or D, I will drop A because of "enabling" and dropping "that".

I wonder why you said so. I on the other hand feel 'that enable' is redundant.

Conditions are available for trees to grow is concise and effective.

I'd say B

I say A. The reason I don't like option D is that:

D. that enable the trees to grow

This option seems to imply that there are other conditions that don't enable the trees to grow? The present participle in option A is used to strictly describe the action or what the noun does, PERIOD. That's why i like this option more.

OA is D. But I wanna know why B is wrong? I had call between B and D, and prefered B over d.

@marshpa

I don't think we say conditions for. We generally say conditions under. That kept me away from B & C. Just my thought though.

Among A, D and E , E is awkward and incomplete to me

Between A & D, D clearly uses that to modify the conditions.
