ANS is A.
B changes meaning and "with ~" is not an usual and favorable expression in G.
C means atmosphere affects the global climate. changes meaning.
D. also changes meaning and used present progressive tense.
E. what is this????

A should not be the answer coz two independent sentences can not be separated by comma. We must use conjunction or semicolon to separate them. "interactions that affect global climate" is an independent sentence.

In C, affects is wrong & also meaning problem.
In D, is should have been substituted by are.
E is absurd

B is not right but seems to be best at the moment.

Actually A does not have the modifier error. Clearly refers to interactions

B makes it awkward using with and ing form.

A is good.
Whoever brought out the point about conjunctions is right.
You will notice that many questions are poorly constructed with respect to punctuation marks. Whether it is deliberate on the part of the authors or it is ignorance, we will never know. As long as the meaning of the sentence is maintained, that's all they are concerned with!
