testing subject - verb agreement.
subject : "The 26 species that make up a dolphin family in fact "
remember "the number of .." is always singular and "a number of .." is plural.
so i guess the above subject is singular. and it needs singular verb. so choices cut down to D and E in which E is looking awkward.
so D is my choice.
correct me if i am wrong.
