Let me give a shot after a while:
A. This question tests the idiom. The correct idiom form is " so x as to be y" i.e. in A.
B. It violets the the correct idiom form.
C. It also violets the the correct idiom form.
D. Its not in idiom form.
E. It is also not in a correct form. "so as to be" is never correct.
So A should be the OA.
