Please put a little title next to the SC as it eases my retrieving of the question. My computer is very slow loading those attachments and I have to open another screen one the Word document appears and I often get lost in which "SC" it is. 
It's between C and E. I pick E because when talking about a condition, I believe passive voice is better.
Hence,
a heart attack which is in progress
sounds better than
a heart attack progressing

Quesion is:
The cardiac research center is experimenting with a drug called streptokinase that can stop a heart attack as they are still in progress.
