Hi guys
I am retaking the GMAT soon. While I do not think I would stop studying if I reach this objective, my goal now is to score something in the mid 30's. I first will write what I am experiencing (tests) and after I would like to discuss my strategy to score something in the middle 30's.
My history in taking verbal section:
GMATPrep 1: 14v Gmatprep2: 17v Gmatprep1: 29V GMATprep2: 25V GMATPrep2: 34V (not quite sure about these scores... only about the last one)
Actual GMAT1: 23V Actual GMAT2: 25V Actual GMAT3: 27V
When I was scoring in the 10's, I was having stamina problems. Now I am experiencing poor time management.
It has been recurrent: 1st: I start to write a time sheet (Minutes remaining vs. question I should be) 2nd: sentence correction questions... critical reasoning questions
so far so good... then: 3rd: READING COMP questions...
When I reach this point, I try to understand the passage, answer the questions, etc., etc., etc. But I always get late (I guess I think too much about the questions).
Then, I am thinking about caring less about RC and just read the passage for the easy questions (main purpose, author's tone and scope) in order to save time for other questions.
Regarding my objective, do you guys think it is a good or fool strategy? (I am fairly OK with SC and CR)

Also, when doing verbal questions, on SC's: identify splits and obvious wrong answers and eliminate them. This will improve your odds. on RC: see what works for you for outlining the passage. Read the questions carefully and remember that your outline should help you. Since you see that RC is your weakest area, put your all into addressing it because it may actually be what helps you achieve your score goal.
