IMO B.

I ignored the first BUT :-D
In the introductory part, we have BELIEFS while the underlined part NO ONE shows some person, which is the problem. It is not compared corretly with the his literary genius

In E, dispute to is incorrect usage here. So, B.

this is an interesting one. i never saw 2 buts used in one sentence. what's the correct answer? i would guess A is the correct one.

Ignoring the first but, I would go with B. What is the source, the first but doesnt look right. It doesnt act as a conjunction for sure.

When 'none' and 'no one' are not followed by 'of', they mean 'nobody' . The differences are: (1) 'none' is more formal than 'no one' or 'nobody', (2) 'none' is usually treated as a plural noun, while 'no one' is always a singular noun

will choose B.
E is out because idiom is dispute with..Dispute to is wrong.
His is ambigous in A,D and C because it has two referral nouns...
