Year when we have the highest differential GDP (America/EU): around 1980

North America GDP: 6200 ish
Europe GDP: 8200 ish

So when does North America hit 8200? (draw a line across to find out: looks like around 1990.

The closest answer choice is 9 years.

On questions like these don't hesitate to put your finger against the computer screen to make estimations... :)

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is we cant draw any lines during the test. When I tried to calculate I estimated it as 82-89 which is 7 yrs. Now both options are there 5 and 9. I am seeing lot of questions like this where we need to guess the graph readings and usually I end up doing wrong. Is there any technique for these questions other than using the naked eye?
I dont understand y such questions are coming up where we need to guess the values. (eg I have seen questions where I took the value as 320 and got the ans wrong. The solution was using 335 and you could hardly make out any diff between the 2 values on the graph). This is really frustrating. :(
Any advice to solve such questions???
