Hey anyone know what is the deadline for the MMA program and anyone know how good is the program?

Hi Jay,
Application deadline for Queens MMA is approaching soon as the session starts in June 2016. The Program is competitive and one of its own kind in Canada. Only Schulich is the other institute which has a similar program comprising Big Data, R and SAS. But with Queens, it is easy to work and study and although the program classes happen twice a week, it is considered full time
I have heard about bad reputation and have seen negative reviews about Hostels in Schulich (Rapes, murders), so I am skeptical about joining there

Hi Jay,
Your best bet is to stay in touch with the application advisor (if you don’t have one, complete the online application on MMA webpage and they’ll assign you one)… this way you'll get all the info first-hand on what’s up with deadlines and stuff.. they’re rather flexible.
The program is unique due to its practical / team-based approach. But if you’re into Phd stuff… this one is not for you. Go to their info session, or register to attend online… and you’ll get all your questions answered.
Schulich is a good choice as well, but it sounds more academic to me. I think you learn programming as well which is not the case with MMA (I guess).
