Hi,
Hi samarthc87 Thanks for your question. I have to say that I think the other comments are true that your GMAT does not put you in the striking range for Haas. That being said, I am sure there is someone walking around in that school now with your GMAT score... but most likely they are not in an over represented pool. But this is just a generalization... and truly what is not known is how well you can explain how you have grown in your cross-cultural management consulting experiences and how you can show yourself to be someone who brings something exceptional to Berkeley. Only a full application can demonstrate that- so I guess my point is not to shut the door and say there is 0 chance... but to give you the realistic idea that something else in your application is going to need to be extraordinary to compensate for that lower GMAT score. Your grades look good and your work looks good so I would say truly at this point your best odds are in R1 next year after you have spent the spring and summer upping your GMAT score. I do wish you the best- and certainly HOW you tell your story and how to show who you are in the Haas essays will play a big role. It can help to have someone challenging you to present your best self in the application and essay part. Haas has an essay about a song that can throw some people off if they approach it as being all about the song... it is more about knowing who you are and how you fit at Haas and then the song fits into that. So keep that in mind- and if you do end up wanting to have some coaching, which I think can be very helpful for people better understand how to present their strengths, here is a link to learn more: https://stratusprep.com/admissions/busi ... b-visitor/
Can someone please review my profile and tell me what are the chances of getting into Berkeley with the GMAT score and profile that i have?
