Currently debating furiously if I should do this EWMBA. I've always wanted a MBA to catapult me into upper management or the business side of things. I have the stats to do a full time at Haas, but the opportunity cost of 150k salary /yr is too much to forgo.
My question is: is there any networking/trips/social aspect of EWMBA ? I know it's not comparable to the FT, but is there any comparison?
I should add I will be 27 when I start the MBA
Yes, its worth it. Whats gotten you here wont get you there - or rather, an EMBA from a top school would put you in far better steed.
If you are looking for networking/trips/social stuff have you considered doing the Wharton EMBA in SF? Lots of emphasis on dinners coffee and drinks...There is a biweekly residency with your colleagues. Also, its a very credible program because you are doing the exact same curriculum as the full timers. There is a deadline in February. There's a good video about it on You Tube hosted by Poets and Quants.
