Hello to all, I will be applying to HEC in R2 at the start if January, but I am still unsure whether to apply through HEC directly or SAI. My main concern is my chance to get admitted, through one procedure or the other. Has anyone got any background on this?
By the way, HEC is my absolute priority, meaning that I know SAI offers 5 schools but that is just not relevant to me.
I am really asking this question because I know two people who went out of the same UK university, which had literaly the same profile: both Moroccan, same grades (low 2.1) from the same London Uni, same professional projects. One applied through SAI, the other through HEC (which I thought was more logical if you're aiming at HEC only), well guess what: the one - who went through SAI- with the lowest GMAT got admitted, the other one wasn't even picked for an interview.
Btw, my profile: low 2.1 from a top 5 UK university, French national (which doesn't play in my favor for the French Grande Écoles). Thanks in advance!
