I have a 680 in GMAT and a 2.5 years of work experience in IT as a tester. I want to apply to Oxford 1 year MBA in the 1st April round. What are my chances?

You haven't provided enough details to adequately evaluate your profile (work experience, academics, community, leadership, why a one year MBA). I would recommend against applying to the last round, as seats are limited (most of the class has already been selected). I would also recommend you increase your GMAT to be competitive in light of lower than average years of work experience.

Applying in the last round is not necessarily a bad thing especially if you come from a non-traditional background or if you can’t wait a year to start your MBA.
However, in your case, the work experience is much lower than the average for an Oxford MBA and you come from an overrepresented industry. If you apply now and do not get in, it will mean that you become a reapplicant and when you apply again in just 6 months (for R1, 2020), it will be tough to show any significant change in profile. In absence of more information regarding your profile (academics, extra curriculars, demographic, leadership experience etc), we would suggest that you wait and apply in the next admissions cycle.
In the meanwhile, work on building a stronger profile by taking on leadership roles at work and focusing on your extracurriculars.
If you want to start your MBA sooner than fall 2020, explore some of the top notch January start programs. HEC Paris, Rotterdam and IMD Switzerland are few schools in Europe that offer J-term MBAs. If you are open to other geographies, Ivey and Queens in Canada are also great programs that offer January start MBAs.
