HEC MBA internship January intake

Question

Hi guys,

I just found this in the employement report

Availability of January intake:

• Internships:
- Summer internships from July to September
- Winter internships from January to April (of the following year)

• Full-time Positions:
- Available from April (of the following year)
- Graduation in June

Does it means that for the 16 months of the programme, one could spend 6 months in internship? 2 months in summer + 4 months in winter.

OR you can't do both.

I'm not sure what your question is with the information that you cited, you can do one internship during the program. More information about that would not be in the employment report so the information that you are citing is not for your eyes it is only for the eyes of the recruiters. Its availability of you as a student to the recruiter Maybe I'm not following you?

Hi loneo , while I can't find anything that directly forbids it, I have never heard of this, and can find nothing to support the idea of doing 2 internships. The 2nd 8-week period is jam packed with your MBA project which is at least 3 months, so it seems impossible spend the whole time interning to be honest - so to complete your project and coursework. https://www.hec.edu/en/mba-programs/mba ... experience "During the Customized Phase, students have a choice of among 34 elective courses across the five specialization areas. Additionally, fieldwork projects during the Customized Phase must incorporate students’ career goals. Similar to a consulting project, students advise companies on strategic issues during the fieldwork projects. They may be conducted individually or in teams across the globe. There is also a partnership option, the Global Consulting Practicum (GCP), with the Wharton School. The GCP centers around a company seeking to expand its market in the U.S. or globally. HEC Paris faculty advises on these projects, which last a minimum of three months. Meanwhile, international exchanges are rather selective—only 40 students per year may participate in an exchange with one of HEC’s more than 40 partner universities."
