Hello,
patopc. Why not mention both—your work-life extracurriculars on top of packed weeks and your past, more involved extracurriculars? I hardly think it could be held against you that you are not active on all fronts when you work 80-90 hours a week—you are a human being, after all, and you need sleep to function—and mentioning your extracurriculars from the past can help to establish a consistent picture of what you have chosen to do with your free time. Besides, if you put some thought into
describing the process of cleaning a river or reforesting an area, most likely in an essay, it will be clear to an admissions committee that you were actively involved in the endeavor, not just looking for another item to add to a list of extracurriculars.
Good luck. Keep up the hard work.
