Kellogg Executive MBA: Amazing Benefit of STEM Designation
We at MBA Admit.com want to spotlight one of the most exciting advantages of the Kellogg Executive MBA: its STEM designation. And trust us—this is a game‐changer. Here’s why it is so great that the Kellogg Executive MBA degree is a STEM-designated field of study.
For international students studying on an F‐1 visa, the STEM designation unlocks a powerful benefit. With the F1 visa, students typically receive 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT). But with a STEM‐designated degree, they may qualify for an additional 24‐month STEM OPT extension—that’s two extra years of work authorization in the United States. Those extra 24 months can make a world of difference. Imagine what you can do with that time: earn highly competitive salaries in U S. dollars, pay down student loans faster, supercharge your business expertise, and build a powerhouse network in one of the world’s most influential markets. That’s two extra years to build and solidify an amazing foundation for your future. It’s not just a perk—it’s a strategic advantage that can transform your career trajectory. STEM designation is a tremendous advantage and one of the reasons the Kellogg Executive MBA stands out for global professionals.

Huh. That is an interesting fact that Kellogg EMBA is Stem. 👍
You can qualify for the F1 Visa. However, usually to get admitted you have to be employed though no one’s going to kick you out in case you quit or get fired in the middle of the program
And many of my candidates like the STEM designation additionally because it is an official designation from the U.S. government affirming that the curriculum is rich in science, technology, engineering, and math. They firmly believe that gives them a boost in the marketplace.
