Work Ex: 10+ years in IT ( pharma sector)

Company 1- Accenture - worked 3 years as a service delivery and quality complaince consultant for a global pharma client (got 1 promotion)
Company 2- Global pharma product based company where i worked as an IT consultant for service and project delivery and infra tech refresh. Alsor esponsible for quality and complaince of regulated systems (got 1 promotion)
Company 3- Another global pharma company working as a system and product manager hybrid role since last 4 years. Managing a global IT system for digital transformation in agile delivery setup (got 1 promotion)
Company 1 and 2- R&d IT department
Company 3 - Mnaufacturing IT department

The standout piece here is your move from R&D to manufacturing IT while shifting from consultant to product/system manager. That cross-functional depth is rare and valuable and this can truly differentiate you when applying to an IIM. Your essays and recommendations need to show strategic impact beyond project delivery. Think budget ownership, org transformation, or influencing business outcomes outside IT. The extracurriculars are fine but won't move the needle too much. Focus your energy on sharpening the core story.
Your goals here will be critical - with AI reshaping the IT landscape, what do you plan to achieve post MBA and how does your prior expertise fit in? Your goals don't necessarily have to be AI or even IT related, but with 10+ years of experience you will need to show the relevance of your work to the MBA and your post-MBA goals.
