Each year during the third week of June, Unison High School organizes a tree plantation drive where grade 11 students each plant one tree, and grade 12 students plant two trees each. From May 2012 to May 2013, the school had 450 students across grades 11 and 12. On June 1, 2013, all 220 grade 12 students graduated, all grade 11 students advanced to grade 12, and 170 new students joined grade 11. There were no failures or any other changes in the grades.

In June 2012, there were 450 students in total: 230 in grade 11 (450 - 220) and 220 in grade 12. They planted a total of 230 * 1 + 220 * 2 = 670 trees.
In June 2013, the 230 grade 11 students advanced to grade 12, and 170 new students joined grade 11. Together, they planted a total of 170 * 1 + 230 * 2 = 630 trees.
Correct answer:
2012 "670"
2013 "630"
