• Exactly two layouts have the same median satisfaction rate.
To find each median, the satisfaction rates for each layout are sorted, and the median is the average of the 4th and 5th values.
- Card grid: median = (22 + 24)/2 = 23
- Compact list: median = (23 + 25)/2 = 24
- Horizontal scroll: median = (22 + 24)/2 = 23
- Minimal tiles: median = (20 + 21)/2 = 20.5
- Dynamic feed: median = (25 + 26)/2 = 25.5
Card grid and Horizontal scroll both have a median of 23.
Answer: True
• Exactly two layouts have the same range of satisfaction rates.
Range = highest value − lowest value.
- Card grid: 31 − 14 = 17
- Compact list: 34 − 17 = 17
- Horizontal scroll: 27 − 15 = 12
- Minimal tiles: 30 − 16 = 14
- Dynamic feed: 33 − 20 = 13
