Raw material expenses = 34%
Machinery and plant maintainance = 18%
Sum of both = 18+34 = 52% (which is more than half of the GenX total expenditure)

Current Employees salary expenditure = 38%
After 2% reduction = 38*98/100 = 37.24% (which is still the greatest expenditure of GenX)

Employees salary percent = 38%
