Official Explanation

3. The author implies that which of the following is a likely argument from a reader in response to an assertion in the passage?

The author of the passage begins by defining creativity, then quickly connects the concept to beauty, saying that there is only a “small step” between the two. He then provides examples—like the example about chaos theory—that further demonstrate the relation, or parallel, between the concepts.

I dont think C is the right choice of Q4. It says making a mobile phone a piece of art..?? What does it mean anyway? Making its 'STRUCTURE' like a piece of art? Making its 'FEATURE' a piece of art? What does it mean anyway? Nothing is clear. If we just make a phone with beautiful drawing then can it be called as computational creativity? What if there is a company thet started making new phone with 'MONA LISA' painting on the back? Is that creativity? Never No chance

I think D should be the answer. D says a robot is doing some work and the work done by it is indeed human like. Humans give medicine in shops generally. So if a machine is doing work like human then indeed its a creativity made of computation.

Official Explanation

4. It can be inferred from the passage that the author believes which of the following to be a likely result of computational creativity?

In the final sentence of the passage, the author explains that the field of computational creativity helps “construct ... tools that are able to support the creative processes of humans.” If a new mobile phone becomes part of a work of art, then its creation certainly has supported a human creative process.

Answer: C

I agree with your reasoning for C, it didn't seems to be a creativity but (D) is also a clear incorrect. It is just a functional phenomenon and no creativity. This question is debatable so i am removing it from the passage.
