Also, I have a doubt in question 2 -

"the typical atrophy experienced by a B12-deficient patient may differ considerably from that produced by short-term deficiencies." So the author is actually questioning how much those short-duration studies can tell us.

B strengthens the statement into: > researchers can study many aspects of malabsorption while the passage only says: > short durations are usually sufficient for research into B12 deficiency and then immediately points out a limitation of such research.

But from a strict reading - The passage argues that short-duration studies may fail to capture important effects of prolonged deficiency. - then how does it justify the use of "many aspect" in option B So B is not as clean as it first appears. Can you tell me the official answer choice? If B was official, I'll show exactly why the test maker thinks B survives despite that limitation. If another option was official, then we should re-evaluate the whole question
