Two answers, so we are looking for pairs that mean the same or roughly the same. The only synonym pairs in the list are B. Capricious and D. Fickle, both meaning unpredictable which can be connected to the clue in the stem 'volatile'.
Also, it is impossible to know on the actual GRE test if a word is question is Easy or Hard since the tests are individualized and difficulty increases based on individual performance. To my knowledge, this felt more like an 'Easy' than a 'Medium'.
