By the defnition given in the question, 0.3 - represents the decimal in which the digit 3 is repeated without end; that is, 0.3 = 0.333. . . . It follows that 0.3 is greater than 0.3.
Similarly, 0.7 is greater than 0.7. Terefore 0.3 + 0.7 is greater than 1; that is, Quantity A is greater than Quantity B.
The correct answer is Choice A.
