Quantity A:
Distance = Speed*Time = (1.8 m/s)*40s =72 m
Quantity B:
4 minutes =4*60=240 seconds
35 centimeters per second = 0.35 m/s
Distance= (0.35 m/s)*(240s)=84 m
Quantity B > Quantity A
Distance = Speed*Time = (1.8 m/s)*40s =72 m
Quantity B:
4 minutes =4*60=240 seconds
35 centimeters per second = 0.35 m/s
Distance= (0.35 m/s)*(240s)=84 m

Official Explanation
Quantity (A)
=1.8(meters/second)*40seconds = 72m
Quantity (B)
After converting 4 minutes to 4 × 60 = 240 seconds, Quantity (B) becomes
Since 100 cm = 1m, 8,400cm = 84 m. Then (B) is greater, because 84 > 72.
