Official Explanation
The formula for the volume of a cylinder is Volume = \(πr^2h\). In (A), the height is 15 times as great, which would contribute 15 times to the volume. But in (B), the diameter, and hence the radius, is 4 times as great. Because radius is squared in the formula, multiplying r by 4 will multiply volume by \(4^2 = 16\). In other words,\( (4r)^2 = 16r ^2.\) Then (B) is greater.
