The question has asked for the percentage of the faculty in humanities who are non-adjunct faculty.
It means non-adjunct faculty in humanities out of total faculty in humanities
1)Non-adjunct faculty = 14% * 250 = 35.
Now, Find
2) Adjunct faculty in humanities = 17% * 200 = 34
Therefore, Total faculties in humanities = 35+34=69
Now, non-adjunct faculty in humanities/ total faculty in humanities = (35/69)*100 = 50.7% i.e 51%.
Hence, Answer choice is "E".
