Is p^2 an odd integer?
(1) p is an odd integer --> \(p^2=odd^2=odd\). Sufficient.
(2) \(\sqrt{p}\) is an odd integer --> \(\sqrt{p}=odd\) --> \(p=odd^2=odd\) --> \(p^2=odd^2=odd\). Sufficient.
Answer: D.
